Concert Series
The concert series features MIT bands showcasing their best on the stage. LMC hosts around 10 concerts a year at a centrally located venue on campus. LMC members manage all aspects of the concerts, including booking, advertising, audio, lighting, and more. Concerts are open to the extended MIT community, which includes faculty, staff, students, and friends. The concerts, featuring local and MIT talent at a professionally run venue, is totally free.
LMC Concert Series also hosts the MIT Battle of the Bands every year. One of the biggest LMC events of the year, 300 freshmen and fans come to watch MIT’s best compete for the title. LMC pulls out all the stops with elaborate lights, giveaways, and the debut of our yearly compilation album. Don’t miss it!
